The TL4008 provides DMX-512 output allowing compatibility with a variety of dimming systems and lighting installations. The console supports multiple operating modes, including a single 16-channel scene, dual 8-channel scenes, or operation with 8 preset programmable scenes, providing flexibility for live performance and architectural lighting applications.

Eight programmable scenes can be stored and recalled for routine operation, while two programmable chases support up to 40 steps each for creating dynamic lighting sequences. Chase speed is easily adjusted from the console, allowing lighting effects to be tailored to specific performances, presentations, or events. A crossfader enables smooth transitions between scenes, while momentary intensity buttons provide immediate channel activation when needed.

Additional controls include a master fader for overall output adjustment and a blackout function for instant lighting shutdown. The console’s simple programming structure makes it suitable for operators who require reliable scene playback and chase control without the complexity of larger lighting controllers.

Designed for dependable long-term operation, the TL4008 incorporates non-volatile memory that preserves stored scenes and chases when power is removed. The console operates from 18VAC or +15VDC phantom power and may also be powered from an external 13–25VAC or VDC source. Its compact footprint, lightweight construction, and flexible operating modes make the TL4008 a practical lighting control solution for smaller venues, portable lighting systems, educational facilities, and houses of worship.
