The TL3012 provides DMX-512 output allowing compatibility with a variety of dimming systems and lighting installations. The console supports multiple operating modes, including two-scene manual operation, preset scene playback, and chase operation, providing flexibility for both live and programmed lighting applications.

Twenty-four programmable scenes are organized into two banks of twelve scenes each for straightforward storage and recall. The console also supports twelve programmable chases with up to twelve steps per chase, allowing users to create dynamic lighting sequences for performances, presentations, and special events. Adjustable scene fade rates, chase fade rates, and chase speeds provide additional control over lighting transitions and effects.

A built-in microphone allows audio signals to trigger chase playback, making the TL3012 well suited for music-driven applications and environments where synchronized lighting effects are desired. Additional controls include a master fader, blackout function, and momentary intensity buttons for immediate access to commonly used lighting functions during operation.

Designed for dependable long-term use, the TL3012 incorporates non-volatile memory that retains programmed scenes and chases when power is removed. The console operates from 18VAC or +15VDC phantom power and may also be powered from an external 13–25VAC or VDC source. Its compact size, lightweight construction, and flexible programming capabilities make the TL3012 a practical lighting control solution for smaller performance venues, worship facilities, educational environments, and portable lighting systems.
