The AT402 is a 4-channel architectural wall-mount dimmer designed for permanent lighting installations requiring a small number of high-capacity dimming circuits. Well suited for churches and houses of worship, theaters, auditoriums, restaurants, meeting rooms, educational facilities, and multi-purpose spaces, the AT402 provides centralized dimming control without requiring a larger rack-mounted system. Each of its four channels supports loads up to 2400 watts, making it an effective solution for installations using conventional forward-phase dimmable lighting loads.
The AT402 accepts DMX-512 control for integration with compatible lighting consoles and architectural control systems. For installations requiring simple local scene recall, the dimmer also provides momentary contact-closure control with storage for 8 programmable scenes. Contact-closure scene operation is provided through channels 1 and 2, allowing straightforward remote activation of stored lighting looks without requiring a DMX controller for routine operation.
Key Features
Designed for dependable architectural operation, the AT402 combines high-capacity dimming with both professional DMX-512 control and simplified preset scene recall. Internal programming controls and an alphanumeric display provide access to setup and memory functions directly at the unit, while individual magnetic circuit breakers provide protection for each lighting circuit.
The AT402 can also be expanded across larger installations, supporting up to 128 units for a total of 512 dimming channels. Its compact wall-mounted design makes it particularly useful where only a few heavy-duty dimming channels are required, providing a permanent installed alternative to larger centralized dimming systems while retaining flexible DMX control and local scene operation.
