The BULB-DYS is a 600-watt lamp designed for use with compatible Lightronics PAR56 and PAR64 reflector kits. Serving as the light source within the reflector assembly, the lamp works with the selected reflector to produce the usable beam of a conventional PAR lighting fixture.

It can be used when assembling a compatible PAR56 or PAR64 reflector configuration or when replacing a worn or failed lamp in an existing fixture. Because the lamp and reflector work together as part of the fixture’s optical system, replacing the BULB-DYS allows the PAR fixture to be returned to service without replacing the complete lighting unit.

The BULB-DYS is suited to conventional stage and entertainment lighting applications where PAR fixtures are used for washes, accent lighting, performance areas, architectural features, or general stage illumination. The resulting beam characteristics are determined by the reflector configuration used with the lamp, allowing the same lamp type to support different lighting needs when paired with compatible PAR56 or PAR64 reflector kits.

As a replaceable fixture component, the BULB-DYS provides a straightforward way to maintain compatible PAR fixtures and extend their usable service life. It is well suited for theaters, churches and houses of worship, schools, auditoriums, live event spaces, and other installations that continue to rely on conventional PAR lighting
