The AS40L is a compact 4-channel portable lighting dimmer designed for theatrical, worship, educational, entertainment, and live event applications requiring reliable control of conventional lighting loads. With a capacity of 600 watts per channel and a maximum total load of 2400 watts, the AS40L provides flexible dimming in a portable format suitable for small productions, performance spaces, houses of worship, schools, and temporary lighting systems.

The AS40L can be controlled through an external LMX-compatible lighting console or operated independently using its eight built-in chase patterns. Its relay mode allows selected channels to operate as non-dim on/off outputs when proportional dimming is not required.
