The AS62D is a heavy-duty 6-channel portable lighting dimmer designed for theatrical, worship, educational, entertainment, and live event applications requiring greater channel count, higher load capacity, and flexible control options. With six independent channels rated at 1200 watts each and a maximum total load capacity of 4800 watts, it provides substantial conventional lighting control in a compact portable format.

The AS62D supports both DMX-512 and LMX-128 control protocols, allowing it to integrate with a wider range of lighting consoles and existing control systems. Dedicated input and output connections for each protocol make it useful in facilities that operate mixed control environments or are transitioning from older LMX-based systems to DMX-512.

Power is supplied through two separate 120VAC, 20-amp input circuits, allowing the connected load to be distributed across two power sources. Output configurations are available with standard Edison sockets or Stagepin connectors, giving the AS62D flexibility for different theatrical, touring, and installed lighting environments.

For applications that do not require an external controller, the AS62D includes eight built-in chase patterns for stand-alone automated operation. Internal relay mode selection allows designated channels to function as non-dim on/off outputs when proportional dimming is not appropriate, while the preheat function provides a low-level lamp warm-up intended to reduce thermal stress and extend filament life.

Designed for both portable and installed conventional lighting systems, the AS62D combines six-channel dimming, dual-protocol control, dual-circuit power handling, flexible output options, relay operation, and stand-alone chase capability in a compact professional dimmer pack.
