The SR516D and SR516W are Unity architectural DMX controllers designed to store and recall lighting scenes while operating alongside a primary DMX lighting console. Managing all 512 DMX channels and storing 16 programmable scenes, the SR516 series provides preset architectural control, DMX pile-on operation, remote station support, programmable fades, and automatic DMX bypass in desktop and wall-mount configurations.

The SR516D and SR516W are Unity architectural controllers designed to provide convenient preset lighting control alongside a facility’s primary DMX-512 lighting console. The system monitors and processes a complete 512-channel DMX universe and allows lighting looks created at the main console to be recorded and recalled as architectural scenes.
Key Features
Lighting scenes are recorded as snapshots of incoming DMX data, allowing commonly used looks to be created from the facility’s main lighting console and stored for later operation without requiring the console to be actively used. This makes the SR516 series particularly useful for theaters, churches and houses of worship, auditoriums, schools, meeting spaces, and multi-purpose venues where both advanced production control and simple everyday lighting operation are required.
Pile-on operation allows recalled architectural scenes to work with incoming console DMX, enabling house, stage, accent, or other lighting to remain accessible from remote stations while a primary console is in use. Scene behavior can also be configured for applications where only one selected preset should remain active at a time.
Compatible remote stations allow stored scenes to be recalled from convenient locations throughout the facility, giving everyday users access to programmed lighting without requiring knowledge of the main lighting console.
The SR516D provides a desktop configuration with XLR DMX connections, while the SR516W is designed for permanent wall installation. Automatic bypass helps maintain the primary DMX signal path if controller power is lost.
Together, the SR516D and SR516W provide a flexible bridge between production-console control and everyday architectural lighting operation.
