The WSRXF-CRMX is a wireless DMX receiver designed to receive the CRMX protocol for DMX-512 lighting control signals from compatible wireless CRMX transmitters and wireless-enabled lighting consoles. Ideal for theaters, churches and houses of worship, schools, event venues, touring productions, and temporary lighting installations, the WSRXF-CRMX provides reliable wireless DMX signal distribution while eliminating the need for long DMX cable runs.

The WSRXF receives DMX-512 control data wirelessly and delivers the received signal through a standard 5-pin female XLR DMX output for connection to dimmers, lighting fixtures, splitters, and other DMX-controlled equipment. Designed to function as a direct replacement for a wired DMX connection, the receiver relays the same control information that would normally be delivered through a physical DMX cable.

Utilizing Cognitive Coexistence, the WSRXF-CRMX continuously scans the 2.4 GHz frequency band to avoid interference from other gear. The system is designed for low-power operation while maintaining dependable signal transmission over long distances, with operating ranges of up to 1,400 feet indoors and up to 4,000 feet outdoors under suitable conditions.

Each receiver is linked to a specific compatible wireless transmitter, ensuring that only the assigned transmitter controls the connected lighting system. Multiple WSRXF receivers may operate simultaneously from a single transmitter, allowing wireless DMX distribution to multiple locations throughout a facility or performance space. Link status and DMX activity indicators provide visual confirmation of system operation and simplify setup and troubleshooting.

Designed for portable and permanent installations, the WSRXF features a compact enclosure measuring 3.25 inches wide by 2 inches high by 5 inches deep and weighs approximately 0.5 pounds. Powered by the included 12VDC external power supply, the WSRXF provides a practical solution for extending DMX control where cable installation is impractical, temporary, or undesirable.
